Musical Theatre/Dance Teacher
Jessica first started ballet at the age of four doing the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus in Ghana, West Africa. She continued to pursue her love for dance by expanding her repertoire to tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom, and pas de deux. She was featured in her first musical as the main character at the age of six in her primary school. She began taking theatre classes in a Primary Years Programme (PYP) school and continued through to the International Baccalaureate, where she took higher level Theatre. Jessica began her training in singing at the age of 16 when she moved to Hong Kong.
Jessica moved to Singapore in 2014 and got her Bachelor Honours degree in Musical Theatre at LASALLE College of the Arts. Some of her credits include the roles of Adult Women in Spring Awakening: The Musical, Andrea and dance captain in Once on this Island (directed by Kaye Tuckerman and musical directed by Tony McGill), and Kristine and dance captain in A Chorus Line (directed by Nikki Nelson and musical directed by Sean Michael Flowers.
Jessica has also began pursuing her love in acting for camera, landing a small speaking role in Warner Brothers Crazy Rich Asians (directed by Jon M Chu). She has since then appeared in small commercials and in Mediacorp, A Friend From Afar (知星⼈人) performing a short tap dance combination.
