Daisy Mitchell

Creative Drama / Early Years Teacher

Born in the UK and raised in Singapore, Daisy has been involved in the performing arts industry since she was 10 years old. Her training includes a BA in Musical Theatre and a Diploma in Performance from LASALLE, as well as a major in Theatre from SOTA. Some of her theatre credits include Hunyak in Chicago (dir. Nikki Snelson), Mayzie LaBird in Suessical (dir. Edith Podesta), and Nachun in Fiddler on the Roof (dir. Emily Maltby). She has performed at festivals such as SIFA, KidsFest and StoryFest and hopes to one day add the Edinburgh Fringe to that list as well.

Daisy is an Associate Young Storyteller at The Storytelling Centre Ltd, which introduces the tradition of oral storytelling to children across Singapore.

Just as she was raised doing the arts in the UK by passionate teachers and artists, Daisy looks forward to being able to do the same for young people at Evolve Arts.
