Playtime is our drop off Pre-school programme running 9-12,00 and combining all of the Creativity that we offer at Evolve with traditional preschool activities. Lots of music, dance and drama using role play to introduce themes, letters and numbers as well as some Mandarin immersion, gardening and cooking.

Our imagination is the one thing that never stops growing. Jesters is a creative way for child and parent to develop imaginative play together, whilst also working to develop your child’s vocabulary, social and gross motor-skills. With art, music, dramatic exploration and development of vocal skills, Jesters aims for all round growth and development.

The perfect class for your tiny dancers. Whether they are a future prima ballerina or just want to have some creative, dancing fun then this class is perfect for them.

Merry Makers is our first independent Creative Drama class and for those who have attended Jesters, they will recognise some familiar routines. For those new to Evolve they will have huge fun and grasp them easily and swiftly. The classes are fully interactive and all of the students develop creativity, confidence and communication skills through the use of literature and popular books, role play and vocal games in a safe and secure environment.

Mini Maestros Creative Drama and Music and aims at developing a love for music within the early years. The class uses play, movement, drama and practical music exercises to stimulate students musical abilities in a fun and engaging environment. Throughout each term students look at different themes and topics as well as looking at many orchestral instruments and music styles. The class often hear the music played live in class and are encouraged to creatively explore all the different sounds every instrument can make, as well as developing opinions on the Music they hear and literature that they use.

Sing like no one is listening and dance like no one is watching. Show stoppers is a high energy, fun packed hour that works on basic vocal technique and dance steps. The process of showstoppers builds up knowledge of rhythm, physical timing, musical counts, expression and stage presence. The group work together towards creating a music video and a performance at the Evolve Fest. Show stoppers is great for little ones with enthusiasm and dynamism and also for less confident children to uncover their potential and allow them to shine.

Performing with and in front of peers, enables us to mature at rates of which we were initially unaware. Jolly jokers is the youngest performance course. We choose age appropriate books, fairytales and text for the children to stage. In the first term, skills are honed, including vocal, expressive and social. Then we move into rehearsal period before performances at the end of term 2 and 3. Through the rehearsal period, as well as performances, the children learn vital skills, such as discipline and structure with a fun and entertaining environment.

Our experiences from life are a collection of our most treasured memories. Moving on in performance skills, Punchinellos is our youngest course to produce scripted performances. Throughout term 1, the course aims to develop a knowledge of more technical stagecraft and character development, all still within a fun, creative and nurturing environment. Term 2 continues to work on drama skills but more geared towards the performance in term 3!
