Jeni Louise Ayodele

Founder/ Artistic Director/ Teacher/ Zumba instructor

Qualifications: BA(hons) Community arts and Drama.

Experience: In 2005, aged 15 Jeni started working at Babble and Speak, an early years Drama, Art and Spanish program alongside Freelance work at the Crucible Theatre in North England in 2006 as a workshop Facilitator, directing and assistant directing. Jeni then also went on to work with companies ‘Told by an Idiot’, Point Blank Theatre Company and Dead Earnest Theatre Company, before moving to Liverpool in 2009 to study Community Drama at the Liverpool Institute for performing Arts. While in Liverpool Jeni worked as contracted Director of Black Box Youth Theatre (4 – 12yrs), Perform L8 Childrens’ Theatre (11 – 17yrs) Dingle Community Theatre (18+yrs). Freelance Jeni worked at the Empire Theatre and Dingle Community Theatre. From 2009 – 2012 Jeni volunteered Barnardos Childrens’ Charity, running programs in Drama and Yoga.

Jeni was awarded a Vodafone world of difference award allowing her to work in the Arts and Heritage sector of British National Waterways, designing and running creative programs for young adults.

In 2012, after working with the company over 2 consecutive summers, Jeni joined Lingue Senza Frontiere on a full basis and travelled Italy as part of a Theatre in Education Tour (3 – 17years). In 2013 Jeni moved to Singapore to work as a teacher in Early years, Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance and Music. Jeni is also a qualified Pilates and Zumba instructor.
